Siong Ong, a Malaysian citizen, trained as an English Chartered Accountant and has 25 years experience working in investment banking and capital markets based in London for Santander, CSFB, UBS and ING. Prior to coming to Asia, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Santander Global Banking and Markets London. His most recent position was Asia Head for Strategy and Business Development for Santander. Mr. Ong also worked in bank auditing for Ernst & Young and focuses on credit analysis across Asia.
