Matthew Nelson joined DAC in 2006 and is the portfolio manager for central China investments. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as an investment banking analyst at Chase Securities in its Global Oil & Gas Group and at Merrill Lynch in its Global Industries Group. He also worked as a structured finance manager at Bouygues Construction Development Asia in Hong Kong and had studied Mandarin Chinese at Capital Normal University in Beijing and at Fudan University in Shanghai. Mr. Nelson holds a B.A. degree from Tufts University. He is fluent in Mandarin and English.
